Help with Migraine Headaches

The other day I received the following email from one of my patients:

“You will be happy to know that my migraines have been ALMOST GONE!!! Honestly I cannot believe it myself but I have cut down on my meds tremendously and have been traveling nonstop; which usually means I need to take my medications continuously!!! YOU are a Miracle WORKER!!!”

This patient had been suffering from migraine headaches for about 30 years when she walked into my office. Her goal was to see if chiropractic could help reduce how much medication she was using and I am so glad her goal was realized. Through out the years patients have come to me for headaches and I feel so blessed to be able to help them.

When someone suffers from headaches I need to determine what the possible causes and triggers could be, including: stress, tension in the neck, jaw or spine, hormone imbalance, mineral deficiencies, food sensitivities, environmental allergies or toxicity, past head injury, physical traumas or eye problems. The list is long yet it is imperative to be a thorough detective. Helping those with headaches is a fantastic way to improve one’s quality of life. So if you know of someone who suffers from headaches, perhaps you can suggest that they see a chiropractor.

Last week’s E-Brief highlighted Dr. Fab’s free online radio show, and one of my patients listened to the re-broadcast. She said Dr. Fab was fantastic; very motivating and uplifting. So perhaps some of you will enjoy this week’s topic; Raising Healthy Kids in a Sick World, on Hay House Radio’s “Self-Healing with Dr. Fab” This Thursday, 8 am Pacific, 10 am Chicago and 11 am Eastern. Let me know what you think.
